Our firm is committed to serving owner managers through every level of their financial need. We are their Financial Quarterbacks, guiding them through our proprietary process to clarify their objectives, then taking a leadership role in the execution of those actions to accomplish their goals. Our process demands excellent tax planning, a meticulous understanding of our clients’ and their families with solutions customized to each family that go way beyond the basics. Financial statements and tax returns (the “basics”) are an important result of this process, but certainly not an end in themselves.

At the MK&A team you will:

  • familiarize yourself with our core values, methodology and performance standards and contribute to the accomplishment of those standards;
  • immerse yourself in our philosophy of “Forward Thinking Finance” and learn about the firm’s  focus on providing comprehensive, integrated planning services;
  • develop the ability to interact meaningfully, both verbally and in writing, with our clients and take ownership of their concerns;
  • learn the internal systems of our firm and the procedures for their operation;
  • assist with financial record keeping for the business and production of monthly reports for 1 on 1 meetings with the senior partner ;
  • familiarize yourself with our IT infrastructure and current projects, contribute toward the development of future IT initiatives; and
  • meet our marketing team and integrate into the established marketing process.



  • a team-player with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced and changing environment;
  • effective time-management skills
  • undergraduate degree;
  • capable bookkeeping skills, ability to manage billings, receivables and payables;
  • strong familiarity with MSOffice ;
  • comfortable around IT systems and their ongoing development; and
  • adept with social media platforms, able to support our marketing team.
